Featured in The Texas Knot- Allison & Zach's Wedding

I came across this article the other day while looking for pretty things to talk about on the blog. This wedding was unreal - absolutely breathtaking! Petal Pushers was one of the vendors at Allison & Zach's San Antonio wedding last March and this past Fall their Wedding was featured in The Knot Texas.

From the amazing arbor to the bouquet to the tables, it's obvious that Petal Pushers sprinkled their expertise and magic all over this wedding.

The 12 types of flowers used (including my favorites - Ranunculas, Peonies, Garden Roses and Cymbidium Orchids) constituted a gorgeous spectrum of pink with the Italian Ruscus, Jasmine Vine, and Texas Smilax mixing in a pinch of green. This combination created a gorgeous garden wedding.

Looking at these photos, Allison & Zach's event has such a whimsical and elegant floral atmosphere resulting in jaw dropping beauty. I can only imagine what it must have been like to have been there and to have taken this all in in-person. It seems fairy tale like - so light, airy, and delicate. **sigh & swoon, sigh & swoon**

Petal Notes:

This was a progressive wedding with the ceremony on the lawn, the cocktail hour in the courtyard, and reception in the ballroom.  The cake was placed out in the round foyer as a statement piece so as not to get lost in the rectangular room that was already filled with dramatic floral.

We chose a variety of table styles with a long, dramatic head table to give the room variance, which I recommend for most weddings, the only exception being small bottle weddings if they have lots of their own props on the tables.  But, for the most part, a room has a better flow with a mix of centerpieces - especially if all of the tables are round (which I try to discourage).

Meredith + Chris :: Vintage Villas

Meredith & Chris were married at Vintage Villas last weekend. I was so surprised when Wendee with Lucie's Events called me to say that we could view some sneak peak images of their wedding. She has also blogged about it here. We worked on their design together and came up with some really charming ideas. Meredith had a vision of a touch of shabby chic elegance, romance and of course girly designs. We incorporated garden roses, snow berries, hanging amaranthus, raununcula and other various fluffy flowers for that effect. All centerpieces were in white vessels to keep the attention on the design.

We absolutely love designing weddings for Riverbend Church and Vintage Villas in Austin. Both venues are so gorgeous and we love complimenting that beauty.

Here are some photos from the wonderfuly talented Stacy Cross Photography. Stop by her blog to check out more of her amazing work.

Kim + Jared :: Star Hill Ranch

Here's a wedding that was some months back, and we've previously blogged about it.. but we had to put more pictures of it on our blog. We love the moss and natural touches. Thanks to Caplan Miller Events and SMS Photography & Diana M Lott Photography! They're all awesome ladies! This wedding was also on Style Me Pretty!

This is one of our favorite bouquets. From the white colors of raununculas, tulips, hydrangea and calla lilies to the accents of green amaranthus and succulents - this bouquet is so soft and natural.
Ahh... the pretty mango calla lilies for the bridesmaids bouquets with the addition of some apidstra leaves. Love!

We currently are in love with moss and succulents. We're on this natural kick! These are great aisle accents for those of you who want an alternative to the traditional chair accents.

Ranuncula boutonnieres are great to use and not too big and fluffy for the "manly" men.

Paper lanterns are awesome on the ceilings AND on walkways! This is a budget friendly way to direct your guests to designated areas and creating some color!
